Happy Father’s Day! Thank you, Abba our Father, the Lord of Hosts!!!
I want to wish Happy Father’s Day to my dad and his father (Ferdinand Jr. and Sr.) and my mom’s father (Sidney Cates Jr). Ferdinand Jr. and Sr. took me fishing often when I was growing up. Sidney gave me a guitar upon which I learned chords and began my life-long music quest. My dad bought me a trumpet when I was 6, upon which I also had a life-long quest. Happy Father’s Day to all fathers.

P.S. A Record Album
Each time (especially my latest offer) passed me by in circumstances of pure chance. I might write about it one day. I am not six feet under yet; so, one day I might “man up” and follow through on one of the offers. I just need to grow a set of kahunas.
I wanted to say something about my music quest which I wrote about above. I had several “near-misses” when it came to recording an album or a record. Even recently, I was offered an opportunity to go into the studio to record some songs. My opportunities transpired such that you might call them the opposite of serendipity.
