(CNN) Whitney: Cause of Death

Los Angeles (CNN) — There were more questions than answers Monday about Whitney Houston’s sudden death, with authorities offering few details even as the iconic singer’s passing loomed large over music’s biggest night.

Coroners completed the autopsy Sunday on Houston, who was found dead a day before in her suite in the upscale Beverly Hilton just hours before she was to attend a pre-Grammy Awards bash at the hotel.

Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office told reporters “there will be no cause of death at this time because it is pending toxicology reports.”

Winter declined to release the coroner’s initial finding of cause of death, saying lab results were expected in six to eight weeks.

“I know there are reports that she maybe was drowned or did she overdose, but we won’t make a final determination until all the tests are in,” he said. Winter ruled out foul play, and said there were no injuries to her body.

Winter confirmed reports that Houston was found in the bathtub of her hotel room. “I believe somebody removed her from the bathtub and the paramedics did CPR on her,” he said.

Entertainment news website TMZ, citing “informed sources,” reported pill bottles were found in Houston’s room. CNN could not immediately confirm the TMZ report and Winter declined to comment.

Beverly Hills police have requested a “security hold” on the coroner’s report, a common practice in high-profile cases that limits what can be revealed about a probe while it is ongoing.

“So there will be no additional information put out as far as what was discovered in the room, any details of that nature,” Winter said.

My reply to Piers Morgan’s Tweet

Here, I am responding to a tweet from Piers Morgan who criticized Madonna by suggesting that a younger singer should have performed at the Super Bowl. Shame on Piers Morgan! Madonna did a fine job.

Shroud of Turin

Is the Shroud of Turin the real face of Jesus? Have you sought the face of Jesus? My next book is about the Shroud of Turin. I will give info once it is close to coming out.

I need to search the scriptures to find where it says to “seek the face of the Lord.” I want to give ya’ll the exact verse so that the words can become alive in your heart too. I know that “WAIT on the LORD” is in the Psalms. I sing that spiritual daily in my worshop and praise.

It goes, ” Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage; and He will strengthen thine heart.” I sing this Psalm daily, backed by my piano. I would give ya’ll the chords to this spiritual song, but I am keeping it to myself so that it will be special to me. Of course, you can find this song at any website that provides a list of gospel songs. It is not my personal Psalm or song. I just picked out the chords on my piano from my memory.

Again, I will let you know when my book SHROUD OF TURIN comes out. You can find it listed with my other books once it is published:

New Grandbaby

Here is a pic of my new grandbaby, Zani (Zaniah), born at about 3:30 pm on Memorial Day. This pic was taken in the delivery room only minutes after her birth. She was hungry as soon as she was born. Might take after me a little bit. She is now at home with her sisters and cousins. Before too long, she’ll be right there cutting up with them. See extra baby pics in the links below.

I took this in the delivery room only minutes after her birth.

My review of Pirates!

Pirates of the Caribbean is the #1 movie in the country this week. My review is developing now as I watch game 5 of Miami/Chicago. Yesterday I stayed home to watch the last episode of Oprah and game 5 of the Dallas/OKC series. I saw the movie this morning at the 10 a.m. slot at Clearview.

I have a hard time understanding the Queen’s English dialect without subtitles. I enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean movies at home when I can turn on the subtitles. Otherwise, to me, it’s just a lot of sword fighting and water. I kept falling asleep at the showing this morning. It looked like it was good.

The cinematography was outstanding (as usual); and the plot looked like it was very good. It’s just that I have a hard time with proper Queen’s English at movies. I did not enjoy KING’S SPEECH either until I rented the video and watched it at home with the subtitles turned on.

At the last Pirates/Cari. to come out in the cinemas my brother from New Jersey and I both were snoring 3 minutes into the movie. We could not keep up with the extra-proper English dialect. Three minutes into the movie this morning, I fell asleep. I woke up when the 3-D glasses fell off my face and hit the floor. The scenes were beautiful, and the ladies in the movie were lovely.

I welcome your comments of my Pirates’ review. I will write more later on (after the game). I plan to also study some of the reviews of it that are on YAHOO MOVIES …(Fri. May 27) I did not add anything to this review since last night. I did my daily walk this morning, and digested some fibre. I’ll write more review this weekend. GREEK FESTIVAL this weekend …BOOO-YAHHH!! ..LOL.

Sharon and Shaunna

This sequence below was a conversation on FaceBook after Oprah’s farewell show between Sharon (whom I do not know) and her cousin Shauna (a FaceBook friend). Oprah’s farewell show was a real tear jerker, and many friends were commenting on how they or their friends had dropped a few tears during the emotional show.

My review of AFTER.LIFE

So, now, stuff is really living in my attic. They were cutting up while I watched the movie AFTER.LIFE. I do not want to expose the end. So, I will go into more depth only after I study the movie further. I think that I understand the end now after I interviewed some people who saw the movie. However, they tell me that there are clues throughout the movie which explain what is happens.

Christina Ricci was extremely lovely throughout the movie. She alone was reason enough for the males of the audience to enjoy it. This may not phase the female audience one way or the other. The movie’s plot gets into gear when Christina wakes up on the slab in a mortuary with the mortician prepping her for her funeral. She thinks that she is still alive. The mortician, Liam Neeson, says that she is not. He tells her that her soul has not yet accepted her death.

http://twitter.com/#!/ferdiewerdie/status/55827752938508288

This is how I truly should have replied to Stephanie Moten’s below tweet about not believing that the Hornets made the playoffs: <<Yeah, baby!! The Bees are in! It’s not a sin IF you’re in! I correct it here because at first I tweeted: It’s not a sin ’til you’re in!
