Patience guards us against losing our presence of mind so we can remain undisturbed, even when the situation is really difficult.**********
This is the latest tweet from the Dalai Lama. Later on, I plan to write more on today’s thoughts. I intend to shortly go into a time of prayer and reflection for a bit. It is raining outside, but I need to do a little bit of work on my van. I pulled the console out to put in a new starter. Now, I have to reinstall the console which is in 1 million pieces. To anyone reading this, I ask you to pray that I can successfully finish the work on my car. I will lift you in prayer also. What I am saying seems mundane, but it probably takes two people to re-install my console. I cannot seem to do it alone. Thus, the stress. Note: see results of our prayers below (under P.S.).
Also, I pray for good weather for Mother’s Day on Sunday. I know that we all want to show our mothers a happy day. The weather here is so wet and ugly today that I think that Sunday should bless our mothers with a lovely day.
