To My Brother, Carl Delery

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Carl, I am scraping along today having a busy, rough day. However, when you were in my corner years ago everyone thought that I was a bad Motor Scooter. NOT TRUE!! I was only hanging in YOUR shadow; and people thought that I was 007, THE secret agent man. NO! I was only Agent 006. I ran across your post below, and I am now ready to go back out there on another mission. You sparked a dormant flame with the mention of two magical words. Yes: PARIS AVENUE!! 🙂

TO: Ferd  FROM: Carl

@Carl Delery >>Thank you for the memories. Today was such a hectic, busy day that after I ran across your post a smile came across my face. YOU were DA’ MAN. I was only a worshiper at your altar. Now that you live way up in New Jersey, I am left to the wolves. Only the lessons that I learned from you keep my Caribbean Pirate vessel afloat. Thank you!

I re-Posted here my comment to your memories about our Paris Ave. apartment when we were leaving our teen years entering into our 20’s. Your words made my day :).

REPOST: Yes, Carl. Our Paris Ave. days need to be made into a movie. 3D & IMAX to add to the #shock&awe. Women will run out of the theaters screaming at the site of such awe. J/K ..lol. We weren’t that awesome, were we?  Carl, you know that I’m just/kidding because you were DA’ MAN; I was only a soldier in YOUR army.

What guides me in this journey and what I propose for you to do is: Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage ..for He shall strengthen thy heart!
