Why Johnny Manziel Dropped to #22

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Y’all don’t know how much I enjoyed reading the leaked New England Patriots’ scouting report on QB Johnny Manziel. The scouting report contains the reasons why the Patriots passed on Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel in the 1st round of the NFL draft this weekend. We sure will find out if they are correct, or if the Cleveland Browns took a worthwhile gamble on Manziel with the 22nd pick. The Pats are a perennially winning team, and basically a class act. I understand 100% now why they passed on the #Manziel “side show.” Very smart!

I know that these New England Patriot cheerleaders are happy to still have Tom Brady as the team quarterback. There was much speculation that the Patriots’ brass were looking at drafting Manziel with their 1st Round pick. The team is beginning to look at a fresh, new quarterback to groom in order to take over the reins from Tom Brady in the future. Brady is 36 years-old, and the Patriots know that his reign as team leader will be closing out soon. However, the Patriots passed this time on picking up a successor because they did not feel that Manziel would fit in with the team philosophy of hard work and clean, conservative living. They thought that Manziel might be too much of a side show.

I plan to write more about Manziel after I wake up. However, for now, I am thinking about shutting things down for the night. Then… Only in my dreams! It IS getting late, and I may be falling asleep soon. What can possibly be waiting for me in my dreams? “Ferdie Werdie, where are you? Do you want to visit me in your dreams? I am waiting,” she says.
