Since our #WhoDatNation is in such a grand funk after Sunday’s loss, I have decided to put a little smile on your faces. I hope that you enjoy my #Cajun joke below. I am hurting badly too because the game was stolen from our 5-1 New Orleans Saints. We need a little bit of humor this week. The agony of the feet is just too much to bear.

I am hurting badly too because the referees were definitely cheating for the New England Patriots. Those hoes! We should be 6-0 instead of 5-1. I believe in stringing up referees. The REFS from Sunday’s New Orleans Saints vs. Patriots game need to be hung from the nearest Magnolia tree. Those refs definitely stole the game from the Saints.

Second U.S. Raid Spawns Terror Threats

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — News of a second, simultaneous raid by U.S special forces in Libya (launched at the same time as a similar Somalia attack) has led Islamic militants to threaten U.S. citizens and interests in Libya. In the special forces raid on Tripoli, Abu Anas al-Libi, a suspect in the 1998 US embassy bombings in East Africa, was captured outside his house on Saturday and is now in custody aboard a US Navy ship.

In the Somali attack, the home of Al-Shabaab leader Sheikh Moktar Ali Zubeyr (also known as Ahmad Amni Godanne) was stormed by members of Seal Team Six also on Saturday. Unlike in Libya where al-Libi was captured, Americans do not know if their main target in Somalia is dead or alive because that raid was cut short after special forces came under heavy fire. Tropical Storm Karen

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — I just read something that is amazing, and should be noted on Fox News and CNN News. The United States government is shut down, and there is a storm headed straight for the guts of the country. WOW!! How stupid, Republicans!

This could be another perfect storm developing. I mean, think of what can happen if the U.S. gets hit by a devastating storm while the stupid Republicans have the government shut down. Let’s not even try to imagine that scenario right now. The Republicans and the Tea Party hate President Obama so much that they are willing to let many Americans go straight down the tubes. I cannot imagine much more hate and ignorance.

Update since the weekend on Tuesday, October 8:
NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Karen touched down in the U.S. as a tropical depression sparing the country the ravages of a full-force attack. Thank the Lord! Meanwhile, the economic impact of the government shutdown and Congressional stalemate rages on. It is un-American for the Teabaggers and Republicans to blackmail the country by throwing the Obama Care Law into the mix as a threat. Obama Care is a duly-passed law which is the law of the land. It is just pure hate of President Obama which drives the Teabaggers and Republican to drag the country to the brink of economic disaster. These haters refuse to vote for anything that President Obama tries to do.

Cannot #Eat This

WWL Radio asked us football fans what we are cooking today. I would love to eat what is in the picture. LOVE IT! However, I bought an oyster sandwich and some fried artichoke balls. After I ate the oyster sandwich, I put a couple artichoke balls on some bread and butter. Now, I am drinking some 7-Up and relaxing with some football.

Speaking of eating, I would sure love to put a smile on Sanaa Lathan’s face. She is a cutie pie. However, I am just dreaming and do not see me getting ahold of her any time soon. Besides that, I heard that Denzel Washington has that stuff all wrapped up.

In the latest from the weekend, a Lake Charles, Louisiana, man walked into his church on Friday night and shot to death his pastor during the sermon. No motive has been discovered yet.

Gunmen Still In Nairobi Mall

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Reports were premature last night that the Westgate mall in Nairobi, Kenya, was secured. This morning, according to updated reports, gunmen are still holed up at the mall. Early this morning, two senior officials said several gunmen — including snipers — were still inside the mall. Look for further reports on the fluid situation.

Also, a large number of bodies of victims from the Nairobi attack is expected to reach the city morgue. Reports say that there still might be hostages in the mall.

In sports news, WHO DATS are prepping this week for the arrival of the Miami Dolphins for their 3-0 undefeated showdown. We will keep you posted.

Mark Ingram Wants Out

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Halleluiah! Yes, I am happy that running back Mark Ingram wants to seek a trade from the New Orleans Saints. Coach Sean Payton does not know how to not play Ingram to the detriment of the team. If Ingram is traded, then Payton cannot play him.

In other news, around the world there is still big trouble in Afghanistan and Iraq. I thought George W. Bush solved all of that. I guess that is what I get for thinking. Plus, North Korea is still experimenting and developing nuclear parts despite U.N. and American sanctions. Who saw that coming? Everybody who can see of course.

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — My reported, reputed and conjectured romantic demise has been much exaggerated and ballyhooed. I find it necessary to clarify my vaunted standing with respect to the passage of time as it is related to my “romantical” prowess.

Shut Up, You Lousy BLEEP

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — @Carl, my brother >>Last night I experienced a prime example of what you recently said about male-female communications. UPDATE: There are two sides to every story. The following is only my side of the story. Someone reminded me of such. Thus, I make this note and correction here. Also, I must note here that there was a third party and witness to the following. Now to continue, on September 1, I listened to a young lady happily talk about her lovely day. I was receptive with fairly, undivided attention. Finally, God forbid, I had a single, 5-word sentence to say; and was not allowed a few seconds to say it. Then, after I kept repeating the sentence over-and-over ad nauseam to get it heard in the conversation, the young lady narrowly focused in; but misinterpreted the 5 words I was trying to say. A heated exchange ensued in which I almost accidentally drove off the side of the cliff on the highway. I am sorry, but sometimes allow me only a few seconds to say 5 words w/o talking over me. Then, I will shut up again for the next 7 hours. I had promised myself to be a good boy on Sunday, but I had only 5 words that I needed to get in edgewise; and was never given the few uninterrupted seconds I needed. Carl, you know that is a pet peeve of mine: at least give me ONE turn in a conversation.

P.S. There are actually no cliffs in southeastern Louisiana :). Sorry! I meant that I drove up the wrong ramp on the highway, and almost got killed. I used cliff to be brief and to emphasize the danger.
