BOSCOVILLE (Gazette) — I loved my sofa. Now, I love my chair. A grand thought came to my mine a few days ago; and the benefits are paying off with many dividends. I thought, instead of spending all of my life prostrate across my sofa where I was enslaved I should make a change. So, one day, I stood up, moved over a few feet and planted my buttockal area in the chair. WOW!! What an experience! I discovered a whole new life, and have been collecting dividends every day. Now, I am living my whole life planted in my chair. hahaha

By the way, this is Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans. The best of the parades and the best of the Balls are this weekend… culminating in Fat Tuesday. I am worn down tonight; but I am going to kick back off in the morning.

I just read something that reminded me that the OSCARS are tonight. I might come back online later and list my choices before the broadcast.

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — IT IS MARDI GRAS time in the BIG EASY! This evening (in the next few minutes), I will be in the swing of things. However, firstly, I had to make sure that lil’ Potato was well-fed. Now that she is alright, I am going off to get into the swing. By Fat Tuesday I will probably be too tired to get out there for Zulu and REX.

I want some candy. I do not want dinner. I want candy or ice cream.

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Paula Patton is getting some funny requests from potential suitors on Twitter. They are not even giving her time to enjoy her newfound freedom. She and Robin Thicke announced their separation only yesterday. The corpse of that marriage is not even cold or in the ground yet. Give her a break. I should be the only person allowed to make a move on Paula because… well, because… I dunno’, just because!! Plus, it is sad to see grown men groveling at Paula’s feet like this. Y’all need to be classy like I am. I am not groveling; I am just flat out begging. Makes more sense!!

Now that she and singer Alan Thicke are separating, it is my time to woo and whatever this lovely, fine and sexy thang. THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN!!!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Halleluiah!!! This fine, package of voluptuous female is dropping straight into my strong arms. Today’s news that she and Robin Thicke are separating could not have put a bigger smile on my face. Like both Marlon Brando and Sly Stallone said in movie history, “PAULLLLLA! PAULLLA! PAAAAAAUUUULLA”!!! Except they were calling Stella and Adrian. I am calling PAUUUULLLLA.

UPDATE: I just tweeted Paula and officially asked her for a date. On the set of DEJA VU in New Orleans in 2006 Paula eyeballed me once. I was an extra in the movie. Denzel Washington got upset at me for the attention, and cut me out of some of the scenes.

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Tiffany Coyne returns today to Let’s Make A Deal after being off for maternity leave. All of her fans are happy to see her back. I sent her the below tweet welcoming her back. I would like to also thank the lovely Danielle Demski for filling in for Tiffany while she was out.

BOSCOVILLE (Gazette) — This morning, I was thinking about a biscuit slopped up with some nice butter and honey. Then a thought came to my mind. SPOILER ALERT: I was just acting silly. I truly meant this Boscoville, Louzianna, post totally in the spirit of a loyal fan.

Someone commented about my post which listed some celebrities who have never responded back to me on Twitter or Facebook; and I wanted to share his comment here. I also listed a few of the celebrities who have actually ever tweeted back to me. I received a comment below that reminded me of someone who does post back to me on Facebook; and it is only fair that I mention him here. He is on the left in the below picture.

Hope may be on the horizon in the opposition protest situation in the Ukrain. The Ukrainian violence and bloodshed in the backdrop of the Russian Olympics was sure not what Vladimir Putin wanted at all in the midst of his Olympics. It was bad enough that Russian police recently horse whipped the Pussy Riot protesters so early after he released two of them just prior to the Olympics.

Then, for more hope, Obama and the Dalai Lama got together at the White House. Two great men; and two great minds!! I heard that China is upset about the meeting. They will get over it. haha

Largest Moon in Solar System

BOSCOVILLE (Gazette) — I plan to study about this moon now. Human beings have been able to reach our moon. Now, we are even studying the moon on Jupiter. I have watched a lot of documentaries on cable about our moon trips, our moon, the space program and NASA. All of this stuff is so amazing. It even almost goes beyond my imagination to now start talking about so much interesting stuff about the Jupiter moon, Mars and so much other stuff millions of miles out there in space. Yes, there is a God!!

Anyway, today is his birthday. He would be 205 years old today. Happy Birthday, good old Abe. Many Americans still regard Lincoln as our greatest president.

This article also says that at another time a Nigerian “Prophet” donned a red robe and entered a den full of lions (similarly to Daniel in the bible); but unlike with Daniel these lions immediately ripped his flesh from his bones.

Walking on water is not easy. Not too many people have the ability. Let’s see, there’s Jesus, and well, that’s about it. Unfortunately for one pastor on the West Coast of Africa, his attempt to become the second man to make this impossible feat a reality cost him his life.
Pastor Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation that he was capable of reenacting the very miracles of Jesus Christ. He decided to make it clear through way of demonstration on Gabon’s beach in the capital city of Libreville.
Referencing Matthew 14:22-33, Kabele said that he received a revelation which told him that with enough faith he could achieve what Jesus was able to.
According to an eyewitness, Kabele took his congregation out to the beach. He told them that he would cross the Kombo estuary by foot, which is normally a 20 minute boat ride.
Sadly by the second step into the water Kabele found himself completely submerged. He never returned.
This is not the first incident of this nature in Africa. At Ibadon zoo in south-west Nigeria, a self-proclaimed Prophet claimed to be able to do what the Daniel of the bible did by walking into a den full of lions.
Though he was warned numerous times by zoo keepers, according to NG Newspapers, the Prophet thought of them as nothing more than enemies of progress. The Prophet, with a crowd of people watching, put on a long red robe and proceeded to enter the cage full of lions.
Within seconds of opening the door, the lions ripped the Prophet from flesh to bone. The bible should come with a warning label, “Don’t try this at home.
